Unemployed

I must say, today is officially my first day of being unemployed after the long holiday.

My last day at my work of more than 8 years was last Dec. 31.

Today is the first day of waking up not thinking of work and the things I need to do at work.

I had to make a schedule on how my day should go as I don’t want to spend each day lazily being so unproductive.

I’m excited on this journey as to how, where, what and when – will God take me to something new.

I’m happy also that I will have more time in my writing now. So much things I can do and so much time I can spend with the Lord!

My work is a gift from God. And this time to rest, is a gift from God also.

Time

Would you agree that in this lifetime, time is truly a luxury?

A luxury…

When we don’t have time…

for family
for rest
for doing hobbies
for meeting people

most importantly, for God.

I use to struggle in managing my time especially during weekends. My calendar is always booked that I got worn out and sick as often because of the lack of rest. This year, I’ve learned to somehow manage my time and make sure I really have time for God and for rest.

God was very serious when He said to keep the Sabbath holy. He knows our limitations and that we truly need rest to be recharged for the good works that He has prepared for us to do in the next days.

I thank God that He gives me 2 days off to be renewed.

Don’t you love weekends? 🙂

Recharge

The past 2 weeks have been very challenging weeks, but in a good way challenging. 🙂

I’m so blessed to take in a new role for a different account in the company. I’ve been wishing to have a BA role in our company, but there’s not really much that of an opportunity within our industry group. But then, God has really been good and amazing the He opened such door for me. Indeed, God can make things happen. 🙂

And I may be tired for that past weeks, but I just feel so happy. I must say, happily tired. 🙂

And this weekend, I just want to recharge and be refreshed for another week to face.

I thank God that He taught us how to rest when He did it on the seventh day after He created all things.

Weekend

 

 

I had a very fun filled long weekend. Just so many things happened over the weekend that I don’t have much energy to write all about them. hehehe…

All I can say is I really had a great time spending it with people who are close to my heart.

Now that August will soon be over, it’s gonna be a new journey – difficult but still looking forward.

Ecstatic!

I got so ecstatic tonight!! I got confirmation of my official flight going back home. Sooo happy!!

Though, I’m still having mixed emotions. I feel sad that I’ll be leaving this beautiful place and my new found friends here. But, I’m not closing my doors. Someday, I really want to come back here. Hopefully, with my family next time.

Thank you Lord for giving me this confirmation that I really needed. 🙂
