Since I became a Christian, a follower of Christ, I’ve learned so much about God and how much He loves me. I realized that I am a very precious child of His.
But then I thought, how can God see me as precious when I am not even worthy of His love. I failed Him so many times even when I was already a Christian. I did a lot of things in the past which made me not worthy even an inch of His love.
And then I realized, it was never about me or because of me. As I read Psalm 103, I realized that God loves me not because of who I am but because of who He is. That’s just who God is. He is compassionate, loving, gracious, slow to anger.
God looked at me according to His big and amazing love. He saw me failed many times but He remained faithful and picked me up. I have hurt God many times but He never keeps a record of our wrongdoings.
Because of Jesus, I became a daughter of a King. A forgiven, saved by grace princess!
I may not meet a real prince in this lifetime, but I will definitely meet the King of kings in life eternity.
Psalm 103:8-12
The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
